in 1960 our founder, Al Hadar, developed the throwdown base. These Hadar-bright-orange plastic indoor/outdoor bases can be used anywhere. They are ideal for whiffle ball, kickball, games at recess, softball — anything that uses a portable base. These bases are easy to see, clean, and store. We were the first to make them and still make them the highest quality and durability, right here in Humboldt, Iowa.
